Digital Goods Delivery Verification System

The Digital Goods Delivery Verification System is currently only available as a component in Your IPN Back-End Solution.  If you need this solution to incorporate into your online store or as a component in software you will be selling, please contact us.

This system is designed to provide security for your digital goods while providing a means for those goods to be automatically delivered to your customer.

How it works:

Delivery is achieved using a Java applet front-end.  The applet is loaded in a new window automatically opened from the successful payment page.  The applet queries your web server for a portion of the password and the location of the digital product.  The customer is shown a "Save As..." dialog box to choose the location to save their new product.  The applet then begins downloading the product and uses the password to decrypt it.  Once the download is complete, the applet checks that the file was saved and reports successful delivery to your web server.  If there are any problems with the download the customer will be given the opportunity to retry the delivery.

NOTE:  The dialog shown above is a special self-advertising version included in Your IPN Back-End Solution.

Benefits:

  • Your customer's new product is delivered immediately.
  • Positive confirmation of delivery is recorded on your web server.
  • The process is completely automatic.  You are free to grow your business instead of sending your product to your customers.
  • No customer accounts or log-in pages are required for your customer to receive their new purchase.
  • No monthly fees to have your products delivered from a third party.
  • Several mechanisms are employed to ensure items are delivered only to valid customers.
